Standing Waves
The Task-
- Each student had the opportunity to chose their own assignment that incorporated the subject of waves. Each assignment varied and had a different grade outcome (3 points, 4 points, 5 points).For me, I wanted to achieve getting 5/5 for this assignment.
- So, I was then tasked to explain the statement, " when waves interfere with each other they can create standing waves." Due to further research as well as information from a packet we received I was able to understand and explain this statement.
- Furthermore, I also had to draw a diagram that represented the statement (shown below). I learned that within this wave it has two fundamental parts that contribute to the movement of the wave.
